The Santa Monica College Chamber Choir will perform "Home," a live concert Friday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. in The Edye at the SMC Performing Arts Center.
Under the direction of SMC music instructor Jeremiah Selvey Convento, the ensemble will showcase Melissa Dunphy's "American DREAMers," featuring texts written by people with undocumented status who enrolled in President Barack Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
The performance takes place at the SMC Performing Arts Center, 1310 11th Street at Santa Monica Boulevard.
Tickets are $10 general admission with a modest service charge. Students with any student ID receive free admission.
Advance tickets can be purchased online at smc.edu/tickets or by calling 310-434-3005 Monday through Friday during limited hours. Tickets may also be purchased starting 45 minutes before the performance begins at The Broad Stage Box Office at the SMC Performing Arts Center.
Free parking is available on premises. Seating is strictly on a first-arrival basis.
