Santa Monica College presents the SMC Jazz Ensemble in concert Monday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Music Hall at the SMC Performing Arts Center, 1310 11th Street.
Led by conductor Frederick Keith Fiddmont, the ensemble will explore "Our Wasted Youth," a program featuring television themes both great and forgettable.
"How many hours of your youth were lost in front of the TV?" asks Fiddmont. "Come get comfortable for a fun evening reminiscing about them with cheers or groans."
Tickets are $10 general admission with a modest service charge, and free for all students with any student ID. Advance tickets can be purchased online at smc.edu/tickets or by calling 310-434-3005 Monday-Friday during limited hours.
Tickets may also be purchased starting 45 minutes before the performance at The Broad Stage Box Office at the SMC Performing Arts Center. Free parking is available on premises with seating on a first-arrival basis.
More information is available by calling 310-434-4323. The concert is subject to change or cancellation without notice.
