# SMC Screens Free Performance of The Tale of A Midsummer Night’s Dream

The Santa Monica College Theatre Arts Department presents a free video of its performance of The Tale of A Midsummer Night’s Dream November 30 through February 13.

A YouTube link to the new production is available for viewing starting November 30 at smc.edu/theatreperformances. The video is free to view at any time of day until midnight February 13, 2022.

The Tale of A Midsummer Night’s Dream — adapted and abridged by Dr. Adrianne Harrop from the amusing play by William Shakespeare first performed in 1596 — is the story of four lovers who find themselves banished by fairies. The comedy is a sly and raucous reckoning with love, jealousy, and marriage. Dr. Harrop directed the SMC production.
