The Santa Monica College Music Department will present the SMC Vocal Jazz Fall Concert, featuring two ensembles — Seaside Swing and Golden Hour — performing on Friday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m. in the Eli & Edythe Broad Stage at the SMC Performing Arts Center, 1310 11th Street, Santa Monica.

Under the direction of SMC music faculty Marisa Bradfield, who is also associate conductor of the University of Southern California Concert Choir, the talented SMC vocalists will explore the timeless sounds of celebrated jazz standards. The vocalists will be accompanied by a three-piece jazz combo with Nate Light on bass, Marcello Carrelli on drums, and Sang Hee Cho on piano.

Tickets are $10 general admission plus a modest service charge; $5 for students with any student I.D. Advance tickets can be purchased online at smc.edu/tickets. Tickets may also be purchased starting 45 minutes before the performance begins at The Broad Stage Box Office at the SMC Performing Arts Center. Free parking is available on premises. Seating is strictly on a first-arrival basis.

This concert will be preceded by the 2025 Fall Friday Night Jazz Series concert featuring the Peter Erskine Quartet, with living legends Peter Erskine on drums, Bob Mintzer on sax, Alan Pasqua on piano, and Darek Oles on bass performing on Friday, Nov. 21, at 6:30 p.m. in the Music Hall at the SMC Performing Arts Center.

All performances subject to change or cancellation without notice.
