SMC Voice Showcase to Feature Multi-Genre Student Performances

Santa Monica College's Music Department will present the SMC Voice Showcase on Friday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m. at The Edye in the SMC Performing Arts Center.

The evening concert will feature advanced voice students performing songs spanning classical, opera, jazz, musical theater and contemporary commercial genres. The showcase will be held at 1310 11th Street at Santa Monica Boulevard.

SMC Director of Choral Activities Jeremiah Selvey and SMC Opera Theatre Director Janelle DeStefano will lead the performance. Accompanists Gary Gray and Sang Hee Cho will support the student performers.

General admission tickets cost $10 with a modest service charge. Advance tickets are available online at smc.edu/tickets or by calling 310-434-3005 Monday through Friday during limited hours.

Tickets may also be purchased at The Broad Stage Box Office at the SMC Performing Arts Center starting 45 minutes before the performance begins. Free parking is available on premises.
