Internationally acclaimed soprano Golda Zahra will perform at Broad Stage in Santa Monica on Saturday, July 12, 2025, for a one-night-only concert featuring operatic arias, Broadway favorites and popular virtuoso pieces.
The performance, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will showcase Zahra alongside the Dream Orchestra under conductor Maestro Daniel Suk. The program includes iconic arias from composers Puccini, Verdi and Bellini, as well as Broadway selections from "The Sound of Music," "My Fair Lady" and "Les Misérables."
Zahra, who grew up in Beverly Hills, has been praised by The Hollywood Times as "the rising star of the opera world." She has performed across continents and is known for her vocal range and stage presence.
"As a classical singer, my goal is to make opera accessible for everyone," Zahra said. "Like Pavarotti and Friends who made people smile, warmed their hearts and united them in their love for music."
The Dream Orchestra, recognized for its dynamic programming and sound quality, will also perform overtures and instrumental interludes during the evening. The ensemble will perform at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage, located at 1310 11th Street in Santa Monica.
The concert marks a homecoming for Zahra, who aims to connect with audiences across different musical genres. Her repertoire will highlight both classical opera traditions and popular Broadway compositions, demonstrating her versatility as a performer.
Tickets for the performance include access to a champagne dessert reception hosted by Urth Caffé during intermission. The event takes place at one of Southern California's acclaimed acoustic venues.
