The Southeast Community Foundation will present "Fly Me to the Moon - An Evening with Sinatra," a benefit concert featuring Richard Shelton on Nov. 8, 2025, at the Santa Monica Bay Woman's Club.
The event, scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 1210 4th Street, will feature Shelton, described as the world's leading dramatic interpreter of Frank Sinatra. The concert aims to raise funds for the foundation's educational programs.
The Southeast Community Foundation focuses on providing academic equity through high-dose tutoring and social-emotional support for local K-12 students. Proceeds from the concert will directly support personalized tutoring and social-emotional learning programs.
"Our students deserve to be empowered with equal opportunities to realize their full potential and achieve their goals," said Cassandra Petersen Harris, the foundation's executive director. "This concert is not only a night of timeless music - it's a celebration of community action to open doors for our kids."
The foundation describes the event as combining music, fundraising and community spirit to support students who need educational assistance most.
Ticket options range from $135.23 for general admission to $268.61 for VIP packages, with a "Treat a Tutor" option also available.
The Santa Monica Bay Woman's Club will serve as the venue for the evening of classic Sinatra music performed in support of local educational initiatives.
