Development agreements for housing projects in downtown Santa Monica could soon be a thing of the past.
The Planning Commission voted 5-2 Wednesday to recommend that City Council to eliminate
Bumblebee’s Santa Monica family is growing with a temporary art installation on Colorado near the former Sears building.
The installation is the first part of a two-phase revitalization of
City Manager Rick Cole wants to see Downtown Santa Monica evolve towards a cultural and arts destination, while preserving the economic foundation that has driven development of the area.
