Last winter, firefighters rushed to a building in the 800 block of Wilshire Boulevard on reports of a fire. Flames had spread from a second-story apartment to an exterior patio.
A car fire at the corner of Lincoln and Pico on Oct. 26 slowed traffic during the evening commute and drew a crowd of onlookers from the nearby shopping centers.
