CITYWIDE — Santa Monica High School’s boys’ volleyball team advanced to the semi-finals of the CIF-Southern Section Division 4 playoffs with a four-game win over Bishop Montgomery on the road on Saturday.

SAMOHI — Unfortunately for Morningside, Santa Monica High School’s Natalie Abel came to play. The senior hurler tossed a no-hitter en route to a big 23-0 win in softball on Tuesday at Samohi.
BARNUM HALL — On Easter Sunday, a man in a bunny costume dropped from the sky onto a field of 25,000 brightly colored Easter eggs, much to the delight of hundreds of children on the McKinley Elementary School campus.
