SAMOHI — Nothing like a good old fashioned rivalry to make for interesting baseball. Down 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Santa Monica High School rallied for three runs in the frame to steal a win from Beverly Hills on Tuesday on campus.
DOWNTOWN — New Roads’ baseball team, currently in first place in the Coastal League, is ranked No. 3 in the latest CIF-Southern Section Division 7 poll, it was announced Monday.

SAMOHI — Another Ocean League game, another win. Santa Monica High School’s softball team remained a perfect 5-0 in league on the back of a 15-0 rout of an overmatched Inglewood team on Thursday at home.
DOWNTOWN — It’s been a good week for St. Monica’s boys’ volleyball team. First, the Mariners clinched a Camino Real League title with a 3-0 victory over Serra last Wednesday.
SAMOHI — On the field, Santa Monica High School’s baseball team had little trouble dispatching Ocean League rival Morningside, 11-2, on Tuesday. But it was something going on off the field that made for an unusual game.
