The Santa Monica College (SMC) Corsairs Football team will host a free football skills camp for second grade to 12th grade students on Saturday, June 22 at Corsair Field on the SMC campus. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with drills beginning at 9:30 a.m.
The camp will be run by SMC Football Head Coach Kelly Ledwith along with other Corsair coaches and players. Also assisting the Corsair coaching staff will be Jim Makris, former Assistant Coach at Santa Monica High School and St. Monica’s High School. This will be a “non-padded training session” that will focus on teaching the same skills and techniques imparted to the Corsairs during training.
