At www.liningup.net, a message site dedicated to helping movie fans connect for special events like premieres, Star Wars fanatics make arrangements to hand out flyers and make a strong showing. On www.theforce.net, fans plan to meet at the show.

In addition to the movie, KLSX 97.1 is offering voter registration facilities all day outside of the event for those who wish to register to vote or learn more about volunteering at polling places on election day.

The remaining Santa Monica Drive-In at the Pier dates are as follows: Sept. 28: “Super Size Me” and the city of Santa Monica 10fest, celebrating 10 years of Santa Monica’s sustainable plan, sponsored by the Sundance Channel.
