# Vehicle code violation leads to arrest

On August 21, 2017 at about 4:42 p.m.

Motorcycle officers were monitoring the 1700 block of Lincoln Blvd for any vehicle code violations. Officers noticed a motorcycle headed north on Lincoln Blvd with no mirrors – a vehicle code violation. Officers conducted a traffic stop of the motorcycle and learned the motorcycle was recently reported stolen. The suspect was taken into custody. A search of the suspect’s person and backpack led to the recovery of methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia. The suspect was also driving on a suspended license. The suspect was taken into custody.

Andre Terrel Bernard, 36, homeless was arrested for taking a vehicle without consent, possession of methamphetamine, and a suspended license. Bail was set at $25,000.
