# Venice Forget drinking with the president

Jack Neworth’s article hit the proverbial nail on the head! Could this be the reason for Barack Obama’s landslide win in Iowa? I am no fan of our current president. Unless you’re one of the fortunate rich, you gotta feel some pain. I do believe that Bush’s main operating system … “trickle down integrity” is the main reason of a lack of accountability on morally deprived shysters that are coming to light. Democrats and Republicans alike. The fact that Bush is Republican gives his minions a sort of get out of jail free card. It kind of reminds me of an old song I heard. “Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes?”

We need to get back to basics and follow the (U.S.) Constitution to the letter. Also, someone curious enough, who hears about our country under attack, would animate himself to defend us and get the guy responsible. One caveat. Next time a person who has an alcohol or drug problem comes along wanting to be commander in chief, don’t encourage his illness by stating, “He’s the kind of guy I’d like to have a beer with.”
