Julieytte Marshall is perceptively “sophisticated, imaginative and satirical,” in her new show “A (Piece Of) Work In Progress.” Written and performed by Marshall, the story follows the challenges of the members of “The Brentwood Divorce Club,” inspired by experiences she’s had living on the Westside. In search of love and happiness, Marshall’s show takes audiences on what critics have called a journey of “outright hilarity.” The show will play Sept. 27 and Oct. 4, 11 and 18 at 8 p.m. For reservations call (323) 960-7792 or get tickets online at www.plays411.com/pieceofwork. Tickets are $20.
