The Makers Hive Market returns to Santa Monica Place on Sunday, March 8, featuring a curated selection of women-owned businesses in celebration of Women's History Month.
The pop-up market will showcase women-led brands across fashion, art, wellness, home goods and gourmet food categories. Organizers say the event aims to connect small businesses and emerging artisans with shoppers at the coastal shopping destination.
The market will include several interactive experiences alongside vendor booths. DJ Priscilla will perform a live set from 2 to 5 p.m., with music playing throughout the day. Benito Coffee will offer craft coffee beverages to attendees.
Scrubbleteashop will host a hand-drawn photobooth doodle experience, with the first 25 guests receiving a complimentary custom doodle. Visitors can also browse the artist's sticker and design collection.
Smile Cult will lead a DIY tote and mug heat press activation, allowing guests to create custom pieces. The activity previously appeared at the organization's Black History Month market in Long Beach.
The March 8 event continues a monthly series scheduled for select Sundays throughout 2026. Organizers say the series aims to provide an ongoing platform for women-owned and independent brands across Southern California.
