‘Yarnbomb’ installation drops in Venice neighborhood

Art: A new “yarnbomb” art installation has popped up on Abbot Kinney Boulevard. The piece was designed by crochet street artist London Kaye in collaboration with Brancott Estate Vineyards. The artwork is designed in honor of Earth Day and the 1,900 New Zealand sheep who help prepare the vineyard for harvest each year by plucking the leaves off the vine and uncovering grape bunches. The funky art piece will be on display until May 6.
