# You love your step-mother, don’t you?

Step-mommy dearest, wire coat hangers and flowers in the attic with a fairy-tale twist — this is the story of “Cinderella.” Directors Chris DeCarlo and Evelyn Rudie, however, have decided to go with the traditional, children-friendly Cinderella story. It’s no attic, but every Friday from Oct. 26 to Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. the Santa Monica Playhouse will host this tragic story of an abused step-daughter who is magically whisked into royalty by magic and circumstance.
