# Yours is a city without a plan

(Re: Paul Bergman’s letter “Missing doors curb a street’s appeal,” Oct. 12) I’ve wanted to argue this for such a long time... Why does someone have to circle around when they choose to enter a store or office?

I take the bus myself, so when I get off at a stop, I have to search for (a store’s) entrance just to enter. That’s a mad waste of time, and it’s frustrating!

I feel for Santa Monica’s city planner. Usually, the goal is to bring money in, not restrict to be different. Santa Monica (City Hall) has to get (its) stuff together, before spending habits get the best of it.
