Santa Monica is about to get hit with a bomb of social political art communicated through dance.
Sherman L. Steward will present the premiere of his multi-national, multi-cultural dance company known as DTW or Santa Monica Dance Theater of the World on March 12.
Steward will reprise two pieces from the September benefit, as well as several newly-created pieces. His themes depict decades of police brutality, lynching, child abuse, love and more.
