CALIFORNIA OR BUST Fabian Lewkowicz A gathering of roughly 60 Irish police officers ride their Harley Davidson motorcycles down Pacific Coast Highway on Friday. The ride began in Chicago 10 days ago and the officers had traveled more than 2,400 miles along historic Route 66 — crossing eight states — before arriving at the Santa Monica Pier. The tour is a fundraiser for UNICEF and benefits children orphaned by the AIDS pandemic in Mozambique. Each officer raised $8,000 to sponsor the ride.
