Life Story Writing Class Publishes Fourth Group Book, "The Story Behind the Picture"

Published:

The adult “Life Story Writing” class, at Westchester-Emerson School is to receive their latest group-book on June 21st 2006. The class, which meets at the YMCA every Wednesday morning, has now published their fourth book in the last eight years. In addition, six individual bio’s have been completed by class members. This fall our class will start again every Wednesday at 9:30am to 12:00pm. Roger is very proud of the class and the books they have produced. The latest book is called, “The Story Behind the Picture.”

Each student has written two stories (with pictures; each.) These stories are tantalizing bits of their lives.

Many Thanks: to Eloise McNerney for doing a magnificent job of art on our cover book.

Many Thanks: to several members that helped put our book together, Maxine Mytar, Ken Jacobs, Eloise McNerney, Roger Graham, Bernie Horst, Ester Bovero.

“If it weren’t for Professor Roger Graham our writing teacher, plus a couple of members of our class, we may never have had that motivation to follow through with any of these books! This is continuous fun meeting with the class every Wednesday, said Deborah Shryack, class member. I give many Thanks to Roger Graham for all that he’s done on our new book:” The Story Behind The Picture.”
