In partnership with Saint John’s Health Center, Westside Family Health Center’s Shots for Tots & Teens next month will provide free immunizations and TB skin tests to all infants, adolescents and teenagers under 18 years old. California law requires that all children must have up-to-date shot records to attend school or child care centers. The immunizations will protect against diphtheria, hepatitis B, measles, rubella, hemophilus influenza, mumps, polio, tetanus and whooping cough — diseases known to infect small children, as well as teenagers.
The free shots will be given out on Aug. 5 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Westside Family Health Center, 1711 Ocean Park Blvd. For more information, call (310) 450-2191.
