Horses racing, mallets swinging, the West Los Angeles nonprofit Circle of Light will hold its third annual Chukkers for Children Polo Challenge this weekend.
The polo matches will be held this Sunday, Aug. 20, at the Will Rogers Polo Grounds in Pacific Palisades to benefit the plastic and reconstructive surgery division of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).
The action-packed event will feature six teams of polo players — all members of the Will Rogers Polo Club, Southern California’s oldest — playing three matches. The players are volunteering their time to support the cause, and all net proceeds from the event
