Cirque du Soleil is making Southern California its playground for the next five months. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of U.S. performances, the legendary acrobat troupe brought its cast of 61 artists from 16 countries to venues in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. The three-hour show is called “Corteo,” derived from the Italian word meaning a joyous procession — and features a festive parade with a clown imagining his own funeral in a carnival set between heaven and earth. Tickets range from $55 to $90 for adults, and discounts for children and seniors are available. Tickets are available online at www.cirquedusoleil.com. The shows in Los Angeles will be at The Great Western Forum at 3900 W. Manchester Blvd, Inglewood.
