Curious about the Malibu Creek Watershed and its condition? The Annual Malibu Creek Watershed Tour 2005 will be held on Oct. 2 The tour, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., starts and ends at Malibu City Council Chambers, 23815 Stuart Ranch Road in Malibu.
The tour will include learning about the people who are helping to protect and restore the watershed; the Malibu Creek Watershed Advisory Council; restoring urban streams; the Rindge Dam and Steelhead Trout; Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve (a.k.a. Ahmanson Ranch); restoring Malibu Creek and Malibu Lagoon.
