Get a taste of Brentwood this weekend as Los Angeles’ longest-running food festival returns on Sunday.

The festival will go from noon to 5 p.m. Now in its 18th year, the event will feature more than two dozen restaurants from across Los Angeles, including the Westside communities of Brentwood, West Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Westwood, Bel Air and Beverly Hills.

During the event, held outdoors on tree-lined San Vicente Boulevard between Barrington and Bringham avenues, attendees can sample “great tastes” from favorite restaurants, discover some new ones, enjoy live entertainment and benefit a cause in the process.

The afternoon will feature live music, a silent and live auction with vacation trips and one-of-a-kind items, a beer and wine garden, a margarita bar and cooking demonstrations by Chef Eric’s Culinary Classroom and L.A. Food Works, and pizza making demonstrations from San Gennaro Café. Admission to the event is free and proceeds from food, beverage, and auction sales will benefit the Palisades Charter Schools, Brentwood Science Magnet and University High School.

Participants in this year’s event include: 310 Lounge and Bistro; Baja Fresh; Chef Eric’s Culinary Classroom; Chin Chin; Coffee Bean; Compartes; Coral Tree; Daily Grill; East/West Sandwich; Hamburger Hamlet; Jamba Juice; Jodi Maroni Sausages; L.A. Food Works; Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard–Bel Air; Mahatma Rice; Mrs. Beasley’s Muffins; Il Palmeri Ristorante; Robeks Juice; San Gennaro Café; Sky Meals; Takao Sushi; Tanino Ristorante; and Tongdang. More restaurants and wineries will be announced as the event nears.
