Shiver me timbers, there’s free Halloween fun a comin’ to Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier at the over-the-ocean swashbuckling-themed Pirates’ Pier Mini Golf course.

Any lad or lassie who appears in traditional pirate garb will get yee a free round of miniature golf starting Saturday, Oct. 29 through Monday, Oct. 31 from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday and 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday.

To take pleasure in a free round of mini golf, buccaneers in pirate costume merely need to go to the Pirates’ Pier Mini Golf entrance and notify the attendant and Pacific Park will provide a complimentary round.

“To all me mates, I say, ‘weigh anchor’ for this chance to play mini-golf for free,” boasted Jeff Klocke, captain of commerce at Pacific Park. “It’s a great, grand celebration for pirate wannabes and mini golfers all Halloween weekend long.”
