Try to avoid that pesky flu bug before it bites with a free flu shot.
The Santa Monica Chapter of the American Red Cross will be hosting one of the Los Angeles County Public Health free flu shot clinics again this year.
Flu shots will be given out from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the Santa Monica Red Cross chapter, 1450 11th St. If you are over 50-years of age and/or have a chronic condition such as asthma, heart disease, kidney disorder or diabetes, you are eligible for the free flu shot. If you are allergic to eggs or have any other serious illness, consult with your doctor before obtaining any flu shots.
The free flu shots are made possible through Los Angeles County Public Health.
