Shukran gazilan, Dank je wel, Merci beaucoup, Danke schön, Domo arigato, Gratias, Sha sha, A dank aych... Thanks. In addition to preparing for Black Friday and beyond, there is a little holiday this week called Thanksgiving that will bring together families and friends across the nation for food, football and reflection. In Santa Monica, following months of campaigning and calls for change, voters overwhelmingly opted to re-elect incumbents, leading observers to draw the conclusion that things in Santa Monica aren’t so bad. At the end of the day, the city contains more than its share of wealth, culture and natural beauty. So this week’s q-line question asks: What about Santa Monica are you thankful for? Why do you choose to live here? Explain. Call (310) 285-8106 before Friday at 5 p.m. and we’ll print your answers in next weekend’s edition of the Daily Press. Please limit responses to a minute or less.
