For the 12th straight year, the American Red Cross of Santa Monica distributed toys to local needy families on Dec. 23, just in time for the holidays. Partnering with the Santa Monica Fire Department, the Red Cross assisted those who have been hard-hit financially and might not otherwise receive any gifts. This year’s “Share the Holidays” toy drive reached more than 150 families and 450 kids.
