Nineteen nascent filmmakers from all parts of the country will be presented this weekend in the 2nd Annual Santa Monica Teen Film Festival. Each film was made by a young person between 13 and 18 years old including documentaries delving into topics such as SAMO High, Topanga Canyon, Vietnam Veterans, hip-hop, and tattoos; an animated film, short comedies and more. Take a peek into the minds of these young prodigies on Saturday at the Miles Playhouse or on Sunday at the Main Santa Monica Library.
Admission is free but reservations are strongly encouraged. This festival is presented by the City of Santa Monica Cultural Affairs Division in association with Virginia Avenue Park, City TV, Santa Monica Library and Miles Playhouse.
