Photo courtesy Actress Patricia Heaton (‘Everybody Loves Raymond’) was recently honored with the ‘Special Friend of Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA’ award and presented with an honorary white doctor's coat during the Sixth Annual 'Mattel Party on the Pier.’ The sold-out crowd of 1,400 packed the pier's Pacific Park where guests enjoyed unlimited rides, carnival booth games filled with prizes donated by Mattel, and a silent auction. Organizers said the event raised more than $500,000 for Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA.
