“This benefit provides a great opportunity for all members in our community to join together, share the strength of song, honor the culture of the Gulf and generously respond to all those in desperate need,” said Reverend Patricia Farris, senior pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Santa Monica.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the benefit concert will go directly to relief and recovery efforts for the thousands of people affected by the disaster. Concert proceeds will be channeled through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). UMCOR is a not-for-profit international humanitarian aid organization of the United Methodist Church.
