Now’s your chance to see Santa Monica’s rising stars. The Second Annual Celebration For The Arts will kick off a weekend-long festival at the Santa Monica Pier on Saturday, April 9, and Sunday, April 10, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The celebration will include a weekend of local student performances and artwork displays, arts-related workshops and food provided by local restaurants. Events on both Saturday and Sunday are free and open to the public.
Last year’s event raised more than $100,000 for arts education in the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District and included performances by Jackson Browne and Venice.
