To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Venice Art Walk, a cocktail party and live benefit art auction was held Thursday in the spacious Venice studio of artist Laddie John Dill.
On view at the event was a 25-year retrospective of collectible Venice Art Walk posters and T-shirt designs. This year’s poster was created by Dill.
The benefit art auction featured works by artists such as Billy Al Bengston, Dennis Hopper, Astrid Peston, Lita Albuquerque and Woods Davy.
The Venice Art Walk will take place the weekend of May 22-23. The Venice Family Clinic is the largest free clinic in the United States. It provides medical care to uninsured individuals and families in Los Angeles County who would otherwise have no access to healthcare.
