Luxury getaways, VIP experiences and Santa Monica Pier adventures headline the auction at A PIERfect Benefit, the Santa Monica Pier Corporation's second annual fundraiser, set for Saturday, Sept. 19.
Online bidding is open now at givebutter.com/pierfectbenefit2026, where supporters can browse the catalog, register and bid from anywhere. Bidding continues during the event, and attendance is not required to bid online.
Held inside the historic Merry Go-Round Building, the Casino Night evokes the SS Rex, the gambling ship once anchored in Santa Monica Bay. Guests can play casino-style games, watch live Carousel Horse Racing and enjoy cocktails, food, entertainment and prize drawings. Proceeds support free, year-round programming on the pier.
Confirmed auction highlights include a two-night Calamigos Ranch & Spa getaway in Malibu ($3,500), a Fairmont oceanfront stay ($1,780), a stay at the Art Deco Georgian Hotel ($1,200) and a night at The Pierside Santa Monica ($920). Other offerings include four two-day passes to the inaugural Ocean Wave Festival on Sept. 26-27 ($1,596), a VIP LAX airfield tour ($600), a private mezcal tasting ($500) and a VIP pass for four to Hollywood's Magic Castle. Pier-themed items include a Pacific Park premium annual pass package for four ($1,250), a swag collection and a Playland Arcade gift tote.
Jim Harris, executive director and historian of the Santa Monica Pier Corporation, said every bid supports the nonprofit's mission to keep pier experiences free and accessible.
Guests who buy gaming tickets in advance receive 50% off the day-of price. Period attire from the 1920s and 1930s is encouraged; Adele's of Hollywood is offering 15% off costume rentals and purchases with code PIER.
