By Lisa Harrison Public Information Coordinator, Sustainable Works
I would like to thank Jared Morgan for featuring the Library Alehouse fundraiser for Sustainable Works in (the Daily Press’) Oct. 31 edition. (The paper’s) commitment to helping increase sustainability awareness and action in our community is sincerely appreciated.
Each year, Sustainable Works continues to advance its mission to manifest the concepts of sustainability and the actions associated with living a sustainable lifestyle into the daily activities of individuals, institutions and businesses. Through our business, residential and business programs, we promote hands-on interactive, educational experiences, serving as a liaison between governments, institutions, businesses and individuals, and fostering community development. Our programs turn knowledge into action that improves quality of life by promoting sustainable practices in the urban environment.
Thanks again for (the) newspaper’s ongoing support of Sustainable Works’ goal to continue to make a difference in the urban environment and ensure a just society, a clean and healthy environment, and a vibrant economy for present and future generations.
