A little help, please. City Hall is looking for offers from those interested in developing, organizing, promoting and managing venue rentals and related services for privately-held special events and meetings at the new Annenberg Community Beach Club.
Currently under construction, the Annenberg Community Beach Club, located at 415 Pacific Coast Highway, is built to become a premiere special event and meeting venue in Santa Monica. Consultants will work with the City Council to develop a business and operations plan and carry out that plan along with the opening of the facility in 2009.
The beach club project consists of revitalized elements of the historic beachfront Marion Davies Estate and new facilities such as a pool house and event house. Three structures — which will offer a wide variety of venues and the historic swimming pool, gardens and beach — will be available for rent by the public.
Qualification statements will be accepted until 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2008. Applicants can find more information at 415.pch.smgov.net.
