The Main Street Merchants Association’s second community clean up event is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 and will focus on the Ocean Park neighborhood.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the Ocean Park Library on Main Street at 8:30 am., for registration. The City of Santa Monica will provide all support service for the clean up.
In addition, Tree People will provide instruction and guidance to volunteers as they perform tree care on the Cassia trees along Ocean Park Boulevard.
Last year more than 60 volunteers were rewarded for their hard work with gift bags containing goodies from Main Street businesses. The Merchants plan to build on the success of the previous clean up effort with an even larger selection of prizes and goodies for clean participants.
