Now in its 13th year, the “Cuban Music Festival: Presencia Cubana en Los Angeles” celebrates the cultural heritage of Cuba. The festival is a commemoration of Dia de la Independencia de Cuba (Cuban Independence Day), which commemorates the island’s freedom from Spain on May 20, 1902. The free family festival includes Cuban music, dancing, food, and art for sale.

The 2007 Cuban Music Festival will take place from noon to 7 p.m. at Echo Park, located at Glendale Boulevard and Park Avenue, near Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Parking is available on streets or nearby lots.
