It was more than 20 years ago when Abraham first decided to volunteer for Heal the Bay, an organization he discovered one morning as he was surfing in Venice Beach. The organization was much smaller back then and was setting up a booth on the beach.
His commitment has slowly grown over the years, starting with volunteering in beach cleanups and eventually moving up in the ladder to producing benefit concerts and speakers bureaus.
In 1995, he joined the Board of Directors. “I find it really gratifying and enjoyable to work with Heal the Bay,” he said.
