Continuing a 20-year tradition, Santa Monica Fire Fighters Local 1109 has announced its “Holiday Gift Program” for the city’s low-income families.
They will give Santa a hand and award gift certificates at Santa Monica Place to help families in need complete their holiday shopping.
The families have been invited to pick up their gifts on Third Street Promenade and Broadway Sunday, Dec. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A fire engine will be on display, and many volunteers will be out to greet the families and wish them a happy holiday.
