Get rid of unwanted clothes and toys and share in some holiday cheer with homeless families at the same time.

By donating clothes and toys, unwrapped, to the Heartfelt Foundation, Santa Monica residents can help make the holidays a bit nicer for more than 2,000 homeless and at-risk kids, as well as 1,000 homeless men and women living in downtown Los Angeles.

The most needed items are socks, T-shirts and new toys for children from birth to 12 years old.

Items need to be delivered by Dec. 15 to the Heartfelt Foundation at 2101 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 117, in Santa Monica.

There will be a wrapping party from Monday, Dec. 13, to Thursday, Dec. 16, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the same location.

For more information, call (310) 829-7857.
