Get a gander at an excellent cross-section of contemporary art at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium this weekend.
ART L.A., the New Los Angeles International Contemporary Art Fair, will be presenting 60 top international and Los Angeles-based galleries during the three-day show. The fair was created to shed light on the L.A. art scene, but organizers aren’t afraid to sprinkle in work produced outside of the area to give patrons a little something extra.
Hours are 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. A one-day ticket is $15 while a three-day pass is $25. For information, call (323) 937-4659. The Santa Monica Civic Auditorium is located at 1855 Main St.
