Synergy Cafe and Lounge in Culver City hosts The Lotta Love Edition of Grassroots Acoustica, a music event in memory and celebration of Nicolette Larson and her music. Larson’s songs will be heard a’plenty, including faves like “Lotta Love,” “Rhumba Girl,” “The French Waltz,” “Let Me Go Love” and “Make a Little Magic.”
Members of the National InChoir will be there to spread good cheer with some traditional carols. The event is Saturday, Dec. 1, 8 p.m. There is no cover charge, but any voluntary donations will go to the Nicolette Larson Pediatric Endowment of Mattel Children’s Hospital/UCLA.
