I’m amazed by the letters from your readers condemning the restriping of Ocean Park Blvd. I find it hard to believe they actually use the street like I do five days a week. My experience is that traffic during morning and evening drive time is much smoother and quicker under the new configuration.
Granted, it’s the week between Christmas and New Year’s and SMC is out of session right now, but this morning, I drove Ocean Park Boulevard from Lincoln (Boulevard) to the gym at 31st Street without stopping once. Relax, open you eyes and mind, and give it a chance people.
