“Magic” Michael Gutenplan, promises evenings of magic, mystery and illusion — at his show, that is. The Powerhouse Theatre will host “Extroradinary Deceptions — a Magical Holiday Extravaganza” running Dec. 14 through Dec. 30. The event will include impossible and daring feats, including card tricks, mind reading, a death-defying bullet catch and an audience member being sawed in half. You won’t want to cut out on that.
The theatre is located at 3116 Second St. in Santa Monica. Shows run Friday through Sunday, with two performances each Saturday. General tickets are $25. Oh, and you can save 20 bucks if you buy a family four-pack — it’s $80, using the promo code “Magic.”
