More than 500 Los Angeles business owners, professionals, community leaders and supporters will attend St. Joseph Center’s annual Dinner Dance and Auctions.

The event on May 8, in the Crystal Ballroom of the Beverly Hills Hotel, will include a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, awards, live auction, music and dancing.

Last year’s event raised more than $355,000 for the center’s programs, which encourage self-sufficiency for the working poor and homeless in Venice, Santa Monica and West Los Angeles.

For the third year in a row, actor Stephen Collins will be master of ceremonies; magician and comedian Jim Bentley will host the auction, and the Leonard Neil Orchestra will provide the music.

Funds raised from tickets sales and auctions will go toward providing emergency services, infant and childcare, job training and senior services for the more than 8,000 people who each year use the center’s services. Ticket price is $275 per person. For information and reservations call, (310) 396-6468, ext. 328.
